Sharing the talent that is Make-Up Artist Lauren Wheeler
I’ve met a lovely lady and I just MUST share her talent with you! We met on the wonderful world of #Twitter and I just love what she stands for – bringing out the best of yourself in a very natural, real and positive way.

Lauren it’s lovely to feature you on on our blog today – please tell us exactly who are you and what do you do?
"We are Lauren Wheeler Hair & Makeup - A team of hairstylist’s and makeup artists working primarily in the wedding industry, covering the whole of the UK, headed up by head makeup artist & founder Lauren. I (Lauren) have always been so passionate about enhancing what you have and who you are and never masking or hiding your true self. The full ethos and values of our business it to just let you shine through and never stray too far from who you are."
You see – I told you she is lovely!!
Why did you become a make up artist?
Honestly, it was never what I saw myself doing. A friend of my broke her wrist just before attending a wedding herself and asked for help applying her makeup. She received lots of compliments and this was then followed by an influx of enquiries and 4 years later we’re here today with a team of artist’s and covering 50+ weddings a year!
What inspires you?
Love. There is nothing quite as beautiful and pure than that of true love. It is something that helps to build and nurture people in to their best possible selves. Always supporting, cherishing and growing. And as a wedding hair & makeup artist, we get to witness some truly beautiful moments fueled by true love.
Great answer!! You're the Queen of Natural Beauty - what's your 'can't live without' product?
Am I allowed to have 2!?
My The Konjac Company Facial Sponge with French Pink Clay to help cleanse, revitalize and perk up my skin!
My Arbonne It’s a Long Story Mascara. I feel so bare without mascara. Both products are Vegan Certified and free from all nasties.
Definitely popping these on my Christmas wishlist!
Last but not least - If you were a diamond, what shape would you be and why?
I think I would be a round diamond. I have always been drawn to them. Circles have always been appealing to me for the fact that they have no corners or ends as such and to me they represent infinity – eternal love, infinite possibilities and success, wholeness and the fact that they are ‘perfect’ and a reminder that we all are perfect in our imperfections and should cherish and love ourselves no matter what.
I can’t argue with that! You can learn more about Lauren and her fabulous team at her website www.laurenwheeler.com
We also had the pleasure of featuring on her blog – you can read her lovely article about Hatton by Design here.
